The club has organized a Red Cross First Aid/CPR training event on Jan 18th, from 9:00-12:30, in Pomona. The cost is $97.

Who should go to this class?

• • All club members who have not had a CPR class in the past two years.

• • All Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) riders.

• • People who work around hazardous environments.

• • People involved in hazardous hobbies.

• • Caregivers.

• • Parents.

Summary

The 2021 Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

Several of us just received emails saying “Your enrollment in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED-r.21 on 1/18/2025 has been cancelled.”  I assume this is because the Red Cross is busy assisting with the fires.

We will cancel this date and let you know when we have rescheduled this training.
