Come with us as we ride the Santa Monica Mountains for a mid-summer gathering at Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. for our GM and lunch. As the summer heat peaks, this coastal-adjacent run is a club favorite for its refreshing breezes and spirited route.

      Date: Saturday, August 1st

Starting Point: Chevron – 17301 Pacific Coast Hwy, Pacific Palisades (PCH at Sunset Blvd)

      Ride Briefing: 9:45am

      KSU: 10:00am

Register on the event page to join the pack for this Thousand Oaks excursion! GPX file is below.

Howdy South Coasters!  If you’ve previously downloaded the GPX file, I have just updated it in the first post fixing a couple of issues, so you’ll need to download it again.  Thanks!

Howdy folks!  This GM is very close and I wanted to let all know it’s going to be TOASTY!  So bring your COOL gear and be prepared, we don’t want to have any heat related issues.

Fantastic day, even if it was a little hot. The mountain roads hidden behind Malibu are (IMO) some of the best in SoCal, and a few of us took the long way back from the restaurant for some more fun. The weather along the coast was beautiful and a nice respite from the heat.

Thank you to Ron for leading the ride, and to Steve Leo for his routing expertise.
