Hi South Coasters!
Summer is just about here and it’s time again for our annual picnic. Join us on Saturday, July 18th at 10:00 for a day that blends great camaraderie with a true summer fiesta. We’re bringing in a catered Mexican feast, complete with all the flavors you would expect.
We’re also elevating the experience with a brand-new venue: Robbins Park, a private HOA facility in Irvine. Enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned clubhouse, plenty of room to spread out on a large grassy field, and activities for everyone—from volleyball and pickleball to a relaxing pool and spa. There is also a shaded, trellised seating area poolside that doubles as our buffet hub, with full kitchen support just steps away.
In the past, our picnics were potluck, with everyone contributing a dish or dessert to share. For this year’s 50th anniversary celebration, we’re offering a fully catered event so everyone can simply come, relax, and enjoy the day. To help offset costs, we are charging a modest $10 fee per attendee (children under 13 are free).
There are two ways to pay after registering:
- Zelle payment to scbmwrc@gmail.com (please indicate attendee names in the note section).
- Cash payment at the event.
Each person’s fee includes one ticket for a door prize drawing.
