          I’m going and would like to join you for the ride up on Friday. My mom lives up in that area so I’m real familiar with all of the fun routes to/from. We could go through Ojai, up/over Route 33, then through New Cuyama to Santa Maria, and up. Or up/over Route 154 by Lake Cachuma, then take Zaca Station into Santa Maria.

            Great Eric, all kinds of options.

            Since we have a small group, we can do it on the fly, one way up and the other back. How about if we meet at the Panera Bread in La Canada Friday morning, say 9am? Let us know if something else is more to your liking.

              We are leaving the South Bay around 8:30am and are interested in going up the coast Friday and back Hwy 58 Sunday due to traffic and a bit better weather inland Sunday.
              .
              Would like to meet somewhere between the South Bay and Ojai in route to 33 and up to 166. How about meeting at “Home Kitchen of Ojai” in Ojai. It is right as you start into town,

              We would target to meet you there 10:30 to 11:00am.

                Hey Karl,
                So, you’re going up Hwy 1 to Ventura and then cutting back over to Ojai? If that’s the case I’ll ride out the 10 and meet you Santa Monica. How’s that?

                  But there is not a convenient place to stop and hang out in Santa Monica where the 10 fwy hits the coast. Let’s meet at the Starbucks in Malibu, near the Malibu Lagoon:
