Eric: I’m going to that motorcycle thing in Wrightwood this weekend.
Juliet: No, Saturday is my aunt’s funeral.
E: What, you didn’t tell me about that.
J: Yes, we talked about it…
You get the idea. And, I’m sure she did tell me about it but my moto brain was somewhere else. Of course we went to Aunt Collene’s service. She and Uncle Dave were great supporters over the years: always coming to my Iraq welcome home parties, sending me get well cards and prayers throughout my treatments. It’s a blessing to have people like that on your side. 🙂
