OMG… I have been away from this website, and as I started to read the last posted comments – Bob H. with wordings … “Good to hear that Mark and Cindy are not too damaged“, I immediately jumped to the top to find out what happened.

Mark & Cindy, I am so glad that you guys are okay and recovering.

For those guys who haven’t ridden with Mark, let me tell you, Mark has good skills to maneuver K1600 GTL Exclusive with passenger. What happened to Mark, could potentially happen to anyone of us. In panic we all make choices – good or bad and you only find out later if it was good or bad. With that been said, let’s look on the bright side – (a) Thank God as it could have been worse, (b) Mark pointed out insight to his gear and dysfunctional items, so that should be a learning for all of us, and we need to revisit our own gear that we have been wearing for long. Lastly, (c) perhaps we should all slow down a bit, at least for a while to reflect that you need to come home alive to your families.

I am told that Schuberth only links to Schuberth (Scala). I believe, Bluetooth allows only for 1 pairing. Using new BMW Navigator V and using BMW Blutooth, rider & passenger Schuberths are paired with the navigation.

Using Schuberth’s Blutooth, you could do two, e.g. iPhone and 1 additonal (another rider or passenger), and Schuberth would automatically disconnect one and do another – back & forth. But I never tried. I would have to take a look at Schuberth’s documentation again to understand. But then, now I am using BMW’s inside my Schuberths so there goes that idea.

I’ll be housed in our private tent. Tradition will continue … marinated meats cooked fresh and served hot on site with fine wine after the O’dourves.

I’ve bachelors degree on Base Camp, however, working towards Ph.D. There is always something you find that you didn’t know. Only way to get Ph.D is if I work for Garmin and head the development team to create a better user experience software. Alas, they don’t pay well, that’s why we have to be stuck with what we have.

Got it. Thanks. I saw what you did. Also, can you allow .gdb files to be uploaded. Thanks Rick!

.gpx file is attached. I also have a short local ride. However, for security reason it did not let me upload .gdb file. Good news, if you really want it, I also have the .gdb file on South Coaster’s classic website, please down load it from there.

I am also attaching Local Ride snapshot.

Ah, I noticed that you increased the size to 5MB, just as I clicked Submit.

I will be uploading Garmin’s native .gdb file today or tomorrow. Earlier I saw a message about the size 2MB, did you increase size?

                      Questions:
Also I wanted to keep these files as part of the event, but there was no option. Is it possible?
Secondly, can the event and forum be tied, like the old system, so that if someone were to scroll all the way up, they will see my first post?
