Santa Ynez Ride and Saturday Lunch Hosted by Jan & Steve Leo
We are only 60 days away from the Santa Ynez Ride. Jan and I are hosting lunch on Saturday at our home in Thousand Oaks on the ride from OC to the Santa Ynez Valley. As we have in the past we have plans for dinner on Saturday night and transporatation to party afterwards at the Maverick Saloon.It is time to start making your hotel reservations. We have 18 Rooms blocked at Pea Soup Anderson’s in Buellton – 9 King rooms and 9 Double Queen rooms. The rate is $130.50 + taxes. all rooms are non-smoking with a mixture of upstairs and downstairs rooms. This is a great price for this time of year. The Sideways in where we stayed last year is now over $200 per night. Call 805-688-5581 to book your room. We have to release any rooms not booked by May 22nd.
I will follow-up shortly with costs for lunch and transportation.

It is getting close to the cut-off date for making hotel reservations at Pea Soup Anderson’s for the Santa Ynez Ride. Currently there are only 4 rooms booked. Our rate is $130.50. This is high season for this area so once the rooms are release you will loose the group rate and it will be sold out very quickly. They are currently already sold out not counting our rooms. It is a really good rate as the Sideways Inn where we stayed on the last Santa Ynez Ride is now over $200.00 per night.
Remember, lunch will be hosted on the ride up to Santa Ynez at the Leo’s home in Thousand Oaks. Ride a couple of hours, take a nice break with good food and then ride a couple of more hours the hotel.
Dinner this year is going to be at AJ Spurs which is just down the street about 1/2 mile from the hotel. After dinner it is off to the Maverick Saloon for some great music and dancing.

Update on Santa Ynez Ride
The meet-up location for Saturday morning is Irvine Seaver’s BMW . KSU will be at 9:00am. Danny Wassenaar will be leading the ride from Irv Seaver’s to the Leo residence in Thousand Oaks where lunch will be waiting!!!
After lunch the group will head north through Ojai, La Casitas, Santa Barabara and up 154 by Lake Cachuma. If anyone needs a route map let me know and I will send it out.
We will be discussing the route home for Sunday over a glass of wine on Saturday early evening by the pool at Pea Soup Anderson’s before heading down the road to dinner at AJ Spurs. -
If anyone cannot make the meet up at Irv Seaver’s let me know and I will send you directions to our house in Thousand Oaks.

Kick stands are still set to go up at 9am tomorrow from Irv Seaver Motorcycles.
