Single room por favor jefe.
Eric,
I too am down with Covid and am out for the count. I signed up for the Rawhyde class at the rally and would rather give away my spot than flush the entire fee down the drain. If any club member is interested in taking my spot on Saturday let me know and I will reach out to Rawhyde and ask if they will transfer. I am not interested any compensation for the class. I’d rather the spot go to a club member.I have to be on a 7am flight to Newark on the 31st and will need to rest up and pack for that trip. I don’t have the option to return Monday so I will return on Sunday.
Pete R. and I will be departing from OC near the 405 on Thursday around 5am and will take a straight shot up to Quincy.
Time and day is on the calendar.
Hello fellow South Coasters,
I just received the following last minute open slots for Coronado PD Ride To Live class this Saturday.
This is a great class and Coronado PD motor officers are super. See details below:

Good Afternoon Riders,
We are hosting a Ride to Live class this Saturday, April, 23rd, at San Diego State University. I have several open spaces and wanted to offer some spots to this group. I realize this is short notice, but if you are available and interested please use the link below to register for the class. Also, feel free to share the information with anyone who hasn’t attended Ride to Live before. The registration indicates the class is for SDSU students and staff only, but I am making an exception and the class is now open to anyone. Thanks, ride safe!

I ordered a 35L SW Motech drybag for $99. Supply is low so you will have to shop around if you want this type.
Great point Pete. I was wondering how to handle the food situation. It seems like cooking on your own isn’t even necessary with restaurants near buy. A cooler with ice cold drinks is definitely enticing.
I am signed up for the 49er event.
Hello Ed,
I am out of town weekdays for the next few weeks. Thanks for reaching out cut I have to pass.Hello Everyone,
I am signed up for May 14 Streetmasters class. If more than four club members attend (or if you signed up for previously cancelled class), there is a 20% discount. The promo codes for former students is GRAD20.
I hope to see fellow club members there.
Any questions about promo pricing can be directed to Nancy Foote at: [email protected]
Bill, if the stars align just right, I should be able to make it. If I do attend, I would plan to “haul tokus” to get there in an expeditious yet safe manner and ride straight there. I will be able to confirm before end of this month.
Get out early and get there early seem about right to me.
While I have Airbnb near by, I hope to hang out at campsite and look forward hearing tall tales with a libation at the ready.
Great class. I had a lot of fun and was SO EXHAUSTED afterwards.

Thats great Carl. I will be on the look out and say hello.
Thanks for the tip Carl. I signed up this one as well as the Coronado PD one.
I just signed up for the March 19th class as well In speaking with Sue, a couple of nights in San Diego is resonating.
This sucks. I got my bike service completed and was seriously looking forward to today.
Wind was a little rough this morning and then I got a dose of what they mean when they say “Wind gusts up to __mph”
I tried to make it to Flo’s this morning and a wind gust blew me sideways three lanes into the shoulder on the 241 going downhill as I approached the 91. I had to stop and hang on tight with feet firmly planted on the ground to avoid getting toppled over. I waited for a break in the gusts and then rode the shoulder on first gear with my hazard lights till I got to the 91 and rode back home.
It was a prayerful experience. Its a good day for tea, a walk or whatever but not on 2 wheels.
Springs classes were recently announced for Streetmasters class. There are two dates available: March 26 and May 14.
I am leaning towards attending the May class but am flexible. It would be ideal if we can gain consensus as a group on a date and take advantage of group rate. It seems that those of us that previously enrolled in the October 2021 class were offered a “former student” discount.
Any takers on a May or March class?
