Lots of good reading; thanks David!
John,
OK, you alone can have a password. But it’s an invisible, telepathic password. Only you can use it and if anyone else uses it they will turn into a frog. I’ve already activated it and it’s the name of your favorite son + the name of his mother + the year and model of your ex-motorcycle. Don’t forget those and you’ll always be able to edit your Ride List.Lisa and I are going. Got a room with a queen bed for 207.98 for 2 nights.
Do we dare try Breckenridge again? (I’m game.)
Here’s a list of all the places you can buy one in person:
I recently got my lifetime pass and learned that while the annual pass was good for my wife and me on 2 bikes, the lifetime does not cover a 2nd bike. My wife now has to have her own pass.
Also, I got mine at a local ranger station in Angeles Crest. There are many places you can buy one.
Finally got my MOA Rally pictures up on the site. Some nice ones there of John Crittenden, Mike Romo and the rest of the South Coasters that braved the hot Salt Lake City heat.
Karl, if you’re still taking suggestions for Walmart, I’d love an inflatable pool.
Mike – it’s KSU 9 AM from the Starbucks on 395 and the 18 (Adelanto). So far it’s Rick, Lisa and John. Wed night we’re staying at the Motel 6 in Cedar City.
I added “MOA Camping” to the Ride List so we can see you is camping at the MOA rally.
Thanks Karl for the schedule. So the bottom line is still show up Thursday unless you are a volunteer. Tempting…
Karl – that rally schedule is off. Where did it come from?
First of all, 7/12 is a Wed, not Tues.
Secondly, the MOA web site says: The Rally opens Thursday, July 13th, at 8:00 am, and ends Sunday, July 16th, at noon. Will that seat fit my 2008 R1200 RT?
Mark, joining us for the 49er rally this weekend? Love to hear some stories.
Nice trip you had there.
Slick RickKarl – Don’t forget that Memorial weekend is the traditional day to open the passes. You might have options for the ride home. Anyhow, if you and John make a route up there, Lisa and I will join you to explore that area around Tollhouse.
Sounds good. Let see a route.
John – Lisa and I are riding up Friday morning. What’s your plan?
Erasmo – my bad. I deleted the May newsletter by mistake.
And I didn’t even get to look at it yet!Can you upload it again?
Troy – the optional $20 Sat night dinner is part of the experience. The food is good but served in a big hall with shared tables and close sitting. I wouldn’t call it romantic. But if you want a fancy restaurant the small town of Mariposa is about 2 miles away (probably not walking distance).
Rick & Lisa are paid and confirmed, camping of course.
