BrandonThat’s 20 adults and 3 kids (alright, campers)—19 bikes. I will be making reservations at That’s Italian for Saturday evening. (Friday night is open). Let me know if I have this right.
As I am not retired and living the good life, Bill R. sent me a past route, which is exactly what I was planning on doing. So thanks to Bill, we don’t have to sit around guzzling beer Saturday, waiting for dinner. Although, if you want to…..
Also, if anyone else would like to join us, I’m sure the Kernville Inn can squeeze you in!
Well, it’s about time! Here is the proposed route to Kernville, leaving Panera Bread in La Canada at 10 a.m.
Lunch is scheduled in Rosamond at Patty’s Cafe, followed by a snowstorm on Breckenridge Road!
For those interested, the Hill Street Cafe across the street from Panera Bread is a likely breakfast spot. The Saturday ride and the Route home are surprises—-(which means I haven’t done them yet).

I just might be able to do that! If I can, I’ll see you for breakfast.
Can I have a password?
We will need a Ride List Officer to make sure that there are no “shenanigans”. Any takers?
Great, Steve. Yes, easy walk. Hope it’s not too noisy for you over on the River!
I believe that I will be there also! Shall we have a Saturday night potluck like last year? Freeze dried smorgasbord?
Thanks, David! Great job with the limited material!
And, hopefully, we’ll have some personal articles on the July Riding for next month (hint, hint!).
Thanks, Chris. The pass also includes National Monument sites, and probably others with “National” attached.
Great pics, Rick.
Also, if any attendee wants to write up an account of their Rally or pre- or post- Rally riding, that would be welcome for the next (September) newsletter.
Karl, that’s the way it’s supposed to be done! And, yes, the instructions are all on the Board Only Guide! Thanks, Larry!
Including donations from the Rally attendees, I believe we had (I did not keep track, Carol was) $240 in donations. Thanks to everyone who chipped in!
We would like to thank everyone who came to the Picnic for being there and bringing so much food, I could barely walk! It was all excellent and a lot of fun. Thanks!
And, did we mention that the President will be at the Picnic? You’ll get to meet and shake hands with him! He’s really a good guy, no matter what you hear.
Howdy, Anthony! Please let me know if you will be able to make the Club Picnic this Sunday. Would be a good time to meet many of the guys and gals!
Might want to check with Irv Seavers!
I will have a jar at the picnic for anyone who would like to contribute, and will bring the donation to the Rally! Thanks, Karl!
David, you are continuing in the excellent tradition of Erasmo! Gracias mucho!
Was just kidding, Mark! I knew you didn’t feel left out!
Great, Bill. Can never have too much fruit!
And, Mark and Cindy, I didn’t send you, or Karl/Sharon, or David O. an email, as I knew you were gonna be gone. I can send you an email, though, if you are upset.
