The new Minutes are in Board Only.Sorry you couldn’t make it, David—–I do have something for you, so next meeting, eh?
Thanks to all who came today—–Beth and I had a great time, and I think we all did! I will be putting together photos and a short writeup for the next newsletter.

Hope you can make it, Karl and Sharon! That would be hyperbolic!
I’m bringing a Frisbee; more games would be great!
We have a LOT of new members—–Please let me know (on a post or email) if you and family members will be coming! I’ll try emailing as many as I can.
Thanks, Karl! Especially for being on the road.
I have not experienced any significant problems with the website. I almost always
use my Windows PC.Great, thanks. Bikram, food item to bring?
Let’s keep the replies/ride list coming!
The time has come to Yea or Nay for the Picnic, so that we know how much food, etc. to get.
The Picnic is now on the Ride List, please mark appropriately.
If you are planning to come, please let Beth or I know how many family, and what you would like to bring to share. We will need:
Appetizers/snacks
Side Dishes
DessertsThe Club will provide waters, soft drinks, barbecued items, and condiments.
Look forward to seeing you there!
I’ve got a small banner also, will bring it.
I’ve got a route in mind to take three days to go to Portland, and ultimately arrive at CJR on Friday, probably mid-day. Will take the Interstate along the Columbia River, thence a scenic route (per the AAA map) down to John Day. Am so looking forward to this 8-9 day trip!
Anybody have any particular plans for the ride home? Two days? Three days?
Hey! Who added my name to the list??? Oh, I did! I’m gonna treat Beth better than a Queen for the next couple of weeks!
I plan on going to Portland to visit the kids for a couple of days, then arrive Friday at CJR.
There’s a chance I might be able to get up there also. Only Time will tell!

I am re-posting this to get back to the subject. (I will delete/move any unrelated items!).
1) I am seriously thinking about taking an extra day in AZ (Monday). We can talk about that Friday/Saturday on the road.
2) Ron, I just used Irv’s as a starting point for mileage. Flo’s is THE kickstands-up location, at 8 a.m. sharp.
3) If anyone is going to be late to Flo’s, please let me know. My intention is to actually leave by 8, so pre-ride brief at 7:45 a.m. (I won’t be having breakfast there myself). Can text me at (909) 239-6305.
4) Niko, sorry you can’t make it. Bummer.
5) I’m sure there is something else, but I can’t think of it!
This topic is for the Route 66 ride, not mapping, etc, please, gentlemen. Start a new topic or put it in an existing one. Thanks.

Finished the first two days last night, and now the 3rd day.
Day 1—Route 66 east of Amboy is open from what I could find, although Tyre doesn’t think so, but “no restrictions”, so that will shave some miles off.
Day 2 is short, leaving options (maybe ride down to Jerome?).
Day 3. About 400 miles. I-40 is a little faster, but about same miles.
The plan is to meet Friday 18 May at Flo’s at Chino Airport and leave by 8 a.m. Lunch at Bagdad Cafe, and this should leave us some time to look around Oatman.

In case you would like, several of us are bringing our gloves to play a little catch and bring back some of the good times playing ball!
