Hi Willis,
That’s great news that you will be joining us!
Carl T. has already approached me to share my room, so that spot is taken.I will gladly pass along your offer to share your room with another member. The FaceBook page shows several “Interested and Going” members, so I am sure we will be able to pair us all up.
When you do find a roommate, please let me know so that I can work on the next room pairing.
Thanks 🙂

657-600-5555Great job, John! You’re 25% done. Yeah! I’ll bring my GS-911 over to let you reset the service intervals, etc, on Saturday. 🙂
Looking forward to it! See you all on Saturday!
Thanks Karl! I appreciate your kind review. 🙂
Thanks Chris! Part 2 Baja Adventure is coming in next month’s edition. There were just too many pictures and stories to tell in one edition. One day, I’d love to hear about your adventures in Baja!
Thanks John. Much appreciated! Oh, that was a good April fools Prez message! Ha ha ha ha.
Yes Eric, I did as well. I think I see a revisit in our future!
Sounds good John. Currently, there is enough camping space on the reservation I have. Hope you can make it. 🙂

As the event approaches, lets all talk about a possible meetup location and then ride out together. Thanks again Sergio for starting this thead and interest in this class. I’m looking forward to it!
Cool Pete, I’ll add you on the camping list. Your 8×8 tent should not be a problem. We’ll just give you the corner. If things look tight, then we can adjust and use the 2nd tent site.
Also Dave E. has joined in as well, …and now we are 3.
I reserved 2 tent sites for Morro Dunes RV Park. Each site will fit 3 tents (6 people), and 3 motorcycles. Each site comes with a picnic table and a fire ring. (Due to being basically on the beach, camp fires within the fire ring are always allowed).
Michelle and I have stayed at Morro Dunes RV Park several times and love it! Each tent site is flat and groomed. It offers hot showers, clean bathrooms, and laundry. Water and electric at each site. The view of Morro Rock is spectacular as the RV park is on the beach, directly to the north of Morro Rock. If you are into camping, it doesn’t get much nicer than this.
As far as location, this is a plus too. The Morro Bay harbor/town is litterly less than 1 mile walk along the bay sidewalk. It takes us about 10 minutes to walk to breakfast or dinner each day.
Cost per site is $35/night. We would split the cost depending on number of campers.
Please notify me SOON if you want to reserve your spot. If the response is good and we need more tent sites, then I’ll reserve another. They book fast so don’t delay! I wouldn’t want someone to miss out on this opportunity. 🙂
Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival, so we have time to adjust if needed.Attachments:
I signed up today, as well. I’m too exited!
Thanks for the scholarship tip, Sergio. I also submitted my application for that as well.Looking forward to a great day of learning and riding!
Recently, Sergio C., posted this on another thread on the club’s site. I wanted to repost it here to add its’ value and great opportunity! Hope more of us can join Sergio that weekend and make it a great day!

“Hello Everyone,
Walt Fulton’s cornering workshop is ramping up classes again for the fall. I registered for the October 23rd training where they have a wide open class with 39 available slots.
Using group discount code “GRP20” you can get 20% off the rate of $390 and bring the cost own to $312.
It gets even better though as BMWMOA members get to access the Paul B. Memorial scholarship which provides a $250 subsidie towards the cost. So, for a net cost of $62 you get a full day of training by a former professional road racer.”
