another fine edition!!
Thanks Carl, I really enjoyed the Hawthorne PD class and was unaware Anaheim PD had one. I signed up for since it has been a few years and this is in our backyard!
Any members thinking about an Airhead should jump on this! Great deal for a well maintained bike!
Another great edition Harry, thank you.
Roady & Wilson booked at the Sandpiper Inn. Morro Crest is a non smoking facility and we gotta have our stogies after a good ride!
WOW .. great edition Harry. That was a lot of work, thank you!
nice job Harry, thank you.
See y’all there!! Brandon and I roll tonight @ 3AM to try and outsmart the dez 😉
Nice job, thanks Harry.
I think we need to test yours again in MT, Mark!
Wondered the same thing, thanks for asking him. I’m more of a belt and suspenders guy I guess, think I’ll keep running both. Suppose you went down, didn’t separate from the bike, therefore don’t activate the airvest? Back pad would be good to have in, right? I know, I know, seems very unlikely those stars would align and theres a comfort/benefit equation that could be factored in 🙂
Going to be a great turnout in Montana by South Coasters this year. I see 16 signed up on the Ride List as attending … way to represent SCBMWRC. Just finished my RT service, new Road-5-GT’S are mounted up, let the ”what and where” to pack phase begin! Hoping to avoid looking like Jed Clampet moving out to Beverly Hills 🙂
Henry, lay out everything you need … then discard half of it and you’re good! Less is more.
Jake, I recently picked up a cheapy Amazon version to try it out. Helinox seems to be the gold standard if you don’t want to potentially buy twice. I will likely still put my air pad on it to address Ed’s comment. In the hammock world it is referred to as CBS .. cold butt syndrome. For the hammock I have an underquilt that attaches externally below it. For long trips like the rally I end up taking hammock and tent .. hammock is great for overnighters, tent is nice if in one place more than a day. Poor RT is gonna look like it belongs to the Beverly Hillbillies moving out West …. again.
Thanks to the BOD for approving a donation in Joe’s honor. RIP Joe, you are missed.
You got it Mark … catch yours in MT in a few weeks. Up to you to find the flavor though.
Naw, I recognize a 2 week ride isn’t quite as easy for a working stiff as for us retired folk .. I’ll have to catch you and Bill another time.
Come with Ron, I got you!
I’ll buy you the ice cream Mr Reitz as my personal small gesture of thanks for your service 👊🏼
Nice job Harry, thank you.
