Eric, your post said you are paying $105, is that correct or a typo? I thing the going prices shouldn’t be too far north of 65 – 75 + tax.
I booked at Best Western Plus Wayfarer in Kingmen. I want to find out while there is availability at
- Canyon Lodge with 4.7 stars
- Stagecoach 66 with 4.1 stars
where most of the people are staying. From ratings, it makes sense at Canyon Lodge, at similar price of $68. But then I don’t want to be the only one at Canyon Lodge and ride on bike to go to dinner when most or all are staying at Stagecoach and walk across for dinner & drinks.
Fantastic!

Ditto, me neither. I was having problems after I posted then wanted to edit more and it would not.
I am in. Looks like website doesn’t like “+1” as input. Looking forward to it.

Nice job David.
Thanks Larry for the Saturday ride. I got home at 6:30 PM with 420 miles on the odometer not bad for 1-day, very satisfying indeed. Great roads.
Wait … that cover picture, wasn’t it taken on our way to Dante’s View, where Brandon and Leo’s were left behind, and decided to take a different route. So, it seem like the photographer would have been Mr. Eastly not Brandon as the newsletter suggested.
Nice article. Thanks David.
Hi Jim,
The email is working, because I got your email. I have to wait to get the approval before proceed to the next step. Thanks for being prompt. Thanks Chris for planning the DV ride. I enjoyed the fun trip with good food and a great company of fellow riders.

Count me in Jim. 2 nights, I take it you leave Saturday and return Monday. Need to know which workday because I need to book my vacation day.
Chris, thanks for organizing and leading the ride. I had fun today.
Right-on Jim. Nicely done.
I can’t go, I will be in Cabo San Lucas. I booked my vacation day for Kernville, and only to be advised that I am taking that week off. Dang!
Thanks Larry. It was a fun ride. I absolutely enjoyed it. Thanks to Trish for keeping up with the rider count and making sure no one was left behind. Good coordination..
