Thanks Karl. I have made my reservations.

I booked into 2-Queen Superior Room, it’s a cottage with patio with easy access as it is on ground level, and most recently renovated. Regular Rate is $219, and AAA is $197.

BMWMOA reserved a block on Regular 1-King room at a rate of $179. No discount, just a block reserved. It is on a 2 story building with no patio and you would have to access 2nd floor through stairwell.

So that is why they charge Non-Refundable deposit of $50 when you book. They’ve got you on the pirates hook and not letting you escape from the ghosts.

Thanks Karl, I was able to get into other pages as I checked. Was not able to get into where I could create a new thread.

Yesterday Bill Reitz downloaded your Sierra files and forwarded to me via email.

It’s not about get out of jail card, but surprised that Chris Roady had a similar issue. So this means it may mean not be an access issue rather about user data persistancy. Because as a moderator I would not expect Roady to have any issues.

Since this is WordPress, and as a packaged solution it may have some inherent issues that one may not know until they surface. My take is purely from troubleshooting point of view on analyzing the behavior and narrowing down.

This is something the webmaster would have to dig in and figure out.

Sorry for hyjacking this thread, but seems like I cannot access Sierra thread. I landed here because this page allowed me access. Why is this happening? I’ve raised this issue few times in the past. All board members will have moderator access, so they will NEVER find or have this issue. If this is happening to one user, let’s find out the cause.

I don’t use the Facebook, and this is the only face to our club communication, and we ought to make is easy to access and navigate. Sessions don’t persist, Well that’s a minor, but it would be user friendly.

Bringing life to this thread …
Karl, approximately how many miles? I am trying to gauge if my tire tread will be okay to replace after the trip for my next big trip. To me it appears I may have 1,000 to 1,300 miles left before replacement. The gauge is showing 3.

LOLS Bill you lost 1 most important member of your ride – the Sweeper … me!

I made sure everybody in front of me was in the ride. No sweat, it was tail end of the ride anyways. I found it rather amusing.

It does that to me too. I was able to get to this one, but not to my post on Sierra ride thread, even when I logged from that page. There seem to be an issue persisting session or cookie gremlins.

Booked room in Porterville at the Best Western Porterville Inn, and room at The Gunn House Hotel. There are 2 king and 1 queen left at the Gunn House. Note that they will charge you “$50 non-refundable deposit”, and it gets applied when you check-in. If you cancel anytime before, you will forfeit your $50. I booked at $159 (single queen) + taxes for 2 nights = $349.80 total.
