Join your fellow South Coasters for an exhilarating ride to Lompoc, and the Central Coast! This scenic journey will take you through some of California’s most breathtaking landscapes, from winding coastal highways to lush rolling hills. Lompoc, known for its stunning flower fields and vibrant murals, promises a perfect backdrop for a weekend of adventure. As we cruise along, keep your eyes peeled for the iconic Pacific coastline, the majestic Santa Ynez Mountains, and the picturesque vineyards that define this enchanting region.
We’ve blocked off rooms at O’Cairns Inn Lompoc for the evenings of Saturday, November 16, and Sunday the 17th, at a rate of $115 plus tax. Based on their availability, at present 6 kings and 4 queens. To reserve your room, call 805-735-7731.
We’ve structured this ride to leave on Saturday so that those who can’t get away for a three day weekend can come out with us on Saturday and stay just one night if they need to. Back to work on Monday. Otherwise, the club ride will go Sat-Mon.
In Lompoc, you can take a leisurely tour of the area’s highlights, including the impressive Lompoc Valley Flower Fields and the historic Mission La Purísima Concepción. Our Sunday ride may include a trip to the Solvang Motorcycle Museum and/or Olive Oil tasting at an orchard.
Saturday meet up at Panera, La Canada at 8:15, safety briefing, then KSU at 8:30. Stay tuned for gpx files and routes.

Hi All,
New member Ralph P and his wife Patti will be joining us on this ride. Patti will be driving up and has offered to take others with her, up to three passengers.
This is a great getaway opportunity to join with our spouses or others who want to join but not make the long ride up. My wife, Juliet, will be joining.

Erasmo Brenes is going to be joining the ride for Saturday night only. He will meet up with the group at Panera on Saturday morning. He is only staying one night and will be heading home after lunch on Sunday with me as I am only going for one night too.

Many thanks to David V. for a fantastic weekend, with great route planning and flawless execution. As a bonus, the hotel was just 10 miles from the Vandenberg SFB launch complex, and Sunday night we witnessed a Falcon 9 (SpaceX) rocket launch, up close!
Thanks also to Danny and Elaine who led us for the sort of long way home on Monday, over some spectacular roads.
