Since my last inquiry about seats got some good responses from club members – I will carry with this request.

I am looking to purchase a good Lexan headlamp cover from my 2014 GSA. On my last GSA in the UK, I had a Wunderlich Lexan Folding Headlight cover (https://www.wunderlichamerica.com/BMW_R1200_GS_R1200_GS_Adventure_Headlight_Guard) This is a good piece of kit and retails for $175 at Irv Seaver. The guys there tell me it is a bit of bear to install – if done by their shop the labour time is 1.5 hours (the front beak has to come off the bike). They charge $180 an hour for the job.
Has Anyone in the GSA camp found a good headlamp cover they would recommend? Have you done a self-install? I am handy enough with tools but was told by the guys at Irv Seaver that it is really easy to break off the plastic tabs that hold the beak to the bike. Do that and you are looking at a new beak. Drat these cheap plastic part of these very expensive machines!

      Thanks again for ‘club wisdom’.
