      GPX Files Posted Below:

GPX files for the ride are now posted in this main event forum for Morro Bay. I split them up into 4 files, Day 1 from KSU at Panera to Morro Bay, Day 2 breakfast run up the coast to Ragged Point, Day 2 Ragged Point to Paso Robles for lunch, Day 2 after lunch run in wine country and back to Morro Bay. This should give those who are only going Saturday and Sunday options as to how far they may want to ride with us before they peal off to return home. Thanks for your patience this has been all new to me.

      Hi all,

Plans are shaping up for this Central Coast ride in late August. I have set up some hotel accomidations as well as picked out a great resturant for our Saturday night dinner. Remember this will be a new weekend platform that we will be trying out. The ride starts Saturday August 17th, and we ride home Monday August 19th. If you can only make it for the weekend this gives you the option to getaway with us by riding out on Saturday and heading back early on Sunday. This will give the few of you that need it, the ability to still work Friday the 16th, and Monday the 19th. Gpx files and more details are coming soon, but this is what I have so far…..

      Hotel Accommodations : MOTEL 6 – 298 Atascadero Rd., Morro Bay, CA 93442  (800) 544-4866

Our Central Coast / Morro Bay ride is shaping up to be a great one! Make sure you sign up now to claim your spot! Dinner at Tognazzini’s Dockside Restaurant Saturday night will be epic, with bay front water views from the restaurant that will give us a beautiful sunset dinner show. I posted a menu on my main forum post.

I do have room for a Roomate, if anyone is interested? I have already booked a double room.  Just contact me via email or phone. My info is posted on the events page.

Gpx files are coming soon, should have them up by next week.

Looking forward to seeing you all there soon, this ride is just around the corner!

I live about 30 minutes west of Azusa in the city of La Crescenta and I absolutely don’t want you to deviate from your original planning, but if there’s any way to share your location on IOS messenger or Whatsapp after KSU at the Shell in Azusa, I can keep an eye on the convoy and hop on at the Lowell onramp as you pass through La Crescenta on the 210. If not, no worries, I can join at the next gas stop, wherever it’ll be, no problems at all.

                      Thank you in advance,

Yes we can work something out, I may change KSU location to the Panera Bread in La Canada off the 210.

These are amazing roads.  Some gentle, some more technical, but beautiful and windy, through grape and olive vineyards.  This will be a super fun ride.

Also, the weather in that region will be super.  Even in Paso the high will only be 89 on Sunday; way better than normal for that time of year.  Bring layers for the ride up the coast in the morning. Burrrrr.
