              SCBMWRC Merchandise Order Update:

As we extended the buy period for the SCBMWRC merchandise to the middle of November, the merchandise is still in process…that means it is at the embroiderer/screen printers being decorated. With the Holiday rush and Thanksgiving closures the merchandise is taking a little long than we hoped. It looks like we will have the merchandise completed and shipped by December 15.

I will update here as soon as I have more information.

                  Laguna Mountain Ride Up-Date

The weather looks like it is going to be beautiful for our ride. Hi 70s in the Julian area, low 80s along the border and a high of 70 at Mount Laguna. It will be cool in the evening and mornings so bring a jacket for the walks to the restaurants. No forecast for precipitation.

I will post the routes here on the Forum on Monday evening.

Remember there are two meet-up locations on Friday morning – South Orange County – Antonio Parkway and Ortega Hwy at Satrbucks and on Clinton Keith Rd just west of the 15 at Starbucks. Details are listed at the beginning of this stream.

Great turnout so far….looks like 22 bikes. There are still rooms available if you want to join us for a great ride.

                    LAGUNA MOUNTAIN RIDE UPDATE!!!!!

We are 6 weeks away from our Laguna Mountain Adventure and we already have 16 BIKES and 19 PEOPLE!

Just a reminder that we will have 2 Meet-Up locations:

                    – Meet-Up #1 in Orange County at Antonio Pkwy & Ortega Hwy

                    – Meet-Up #2 in Murrieta on Clinton Keith just west of the I15.

We have a couple of wives driving up to spend the weekend hiking and shopping so it is time to have your wife join us for the weekend.

The 2 Meet-up Groups will have separate routes going to lunch at the Paradise Cafe on Pines to Palms Hwy (74) at Hwy 371.

Same route for everyone after lunch. The routes will be sent out the week prior to the ride.

We have dinner reservation at 6:30pm on Saturday Night at the Pine House Cafe & Tavern. It is a nice walk down Sunrise Hwy to the restaurant – 1/3 of a mile. They serve breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning.

If you are interested in the Sena line and are a First Responder or Military (retired too) they give a nice discount. You have to buy directly from Sena and not a dealer. Their service is pretty good and you can get the item quickly as they are located in Irvine. You might even be able to pick it up. They are right by the Five Points Theater.  888-333-7362.

Our nephew is a Sheriff so he ordered it for me.

                                            Kernville Party Update

We currently have 16 bikes and 3 wives signed up. We also have 2 wives riding 2-up and 1 riding her own bike. We need more ladies to join us for the Party!!!   The Kernville Inn is sold out but they will put us on the waiting list for cancellations. If you want to go on the ride and need a room send me an email and I will put you on the wait list.

We still have 2 campsites reserved. Please let me now if you want a space as I will be cancelling the second campsite if we do not get more people signed up.

We have dinner reservations at That’s Italian for Saturday night at 7:00pm. Good news for breakfast…the Cracked Egg has moved and is now part of That’s Italian so there will be plenty of space for breakfasts. We also have Cheryl’s next door to the Kernville Inn for breakfasts.

We are waiting on setting the routes until we see what the snow situation is on Sherman Pass closer to the ride. We will probably send out the routes a week before the ride.
