It was a tough decision, but I’m going to miss the campout. My prepper group is going to Front Sight for handgun training that same weekend, and I really, really want my CCW. (Not that it will do my any good in Kali).

What exactly can’t you do?I’m feeling another New Year’s Eve event – where the weatherman says rain all 3 days and we barely get sprinkled on once. Never even put on the rain gear. And think of all those wildflowers blooming in the desert. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get a photo taking an epic canoe trip in Death Valley.

Brandon – I like my Intocircuit battery because it has multiple USB ports for charging things at night when camping. They have several models, but the one I have isn’t available anymore. You can find them on Amazon. Also, the CW lights are LED and don’t draw much from the battery.
