I want to go, but won’t know until next week. If it does work out, will leave early Friday.
Great Job, Harry! Thanks.
Thanks to all for a great Picnic! Excellent food and friends! I’m gonna miss Presidenting over you all!
A couple of notes: Two cooler bags were left behind. If you want them, I can return them to you, otherwise I will add them to the leftover Picnic supplies.
Also, a coffee thermos/mug was by one of the tables. Let me know who it belongs to!
Thanks again.
Thanks, Erasmo and Diane
Another Call to sign up on the Ride List. Please! Just a bit more than 2 weeks. And to let Beth or I know what side, appetizer, dessert you are planning on bringing.
Well Done, Pete! You da Man!
Excellent, Harry!
No T-shirts at this time, sorry. Also need to know if long or short sleeve.
Got it, Peter, but need what size you want. And, Royal or Navy? (Both “blue”)

Excellent, thanks, Phil.
Bummers, Sergio and Eric. Will miss you two.
As far as where to pitch, we likely will get at or near the circled area on the map. Whoever arrives first, make yourself visible!
I’m ready!
We can do it on yours if it really means that much to you!
I received the new bush from Ted Porter’s Beemershop yesterday, popped it in, and put all back together. Yippee Kiyeah! Feels real good riding. I’ll take a win on that!
Lots of options, but let’s get there and have a great time! Wednesday a.m., I was planning on breakfast at Molly Brown’s near Helendale, on National Trails, it’s pretty good! Copper Top for lunch or dinner, or maybe on the return.
Thanks to Chris R for coming over Thursday and assisting on putting the front shock in. Was relatively easy.
After putting the plastic back on, I took it off the center stand, and heard a little “clunk”. Went for a short ride, and when got back, there was the noise when the front was rocked back/forth. I determined that I was missing a “bush”, or rubber spacer where it should go. I was able to take the front shock off with little difficulty, wriggled it down enough to put a washer and the bush on the lower top stud, but was still missing one for the top. Don’t know where it went, maybe stuck to the old front shock that is now gone. Bummer. So, a new bush is on it’s way, and all that will involve will be removing the fairings, etc. to access the top bolt. A bit tedious but totally do-able.
Almost there!

For those going up the two-day, 395 route, I figure we’ll overnight in Bishop on Wednesday, 25 May. I am booked at the Super 8 in Bishop.
Although the Rally is until 30 May, I am more than likely going to come back on Sunday, May 29, making it a one day ride, seeing that Monday is a holiday, and traffic coming in to So Cal should be lighter than Monday. And, spending Mem Day with the wife!
Re. Bristlecone, that would be tough. An hour there, an hour back, plus at least an hour to check the Pines out. I’ve been there (during the Fall Colors), but that is an option for those who wish, seeing as we are staying in Bishop.
For those who wish to ride up to Quincy, breaking it into two days, I can lead. We can meet at the Starbucks, 1041 N. Millikin, Ontario, 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, and arrive in Quincy on May 26.
I’m thinking a motel somewhere along the way, as this would make it easier than setting up and taking down. Please let me know if you will be joining this group ride. I’ll have more specifics, but this is a start.
Superlative, Harry!
