I got home at 4 and I can still walk !! Another thank you to Brandon Wilson for starting the new year right.
Thanks to all the group 2 riders also. I was a little slow today but just wait till my knees are 100%. 😁Hey Bill, to get a quicker answer you should have posted in the Saturday Ride Thread. We meet at the Panera Bread at 990 Town Center Dr Suite A, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011 and LEAVE at 9am. There is a large, upper level parking lot where the bikes gather across from Panera.
Hey Alan I will be going on this ride so we can ride together. We meet at the Panera Bread at 990 Town Center Dr Suite A, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011. There is a large parking lot as you enter the area of Panera to the left. Just off the 210, left on Hwy 2 , then left into the shopping area just after the Shell Station. I will call you closer to the weekend to connect.
We will need to leave about 0730 to make it in time.Maybe, just maybe me too !!
If Stovepipe Wells cabins are full try the Longstreet Inn & Casino just over the Nevada line in Amargosa Valley. It’s 38 miles to Furnace Creek, about 40 minutes. The Club stayed there on a ride about six years ago. From Furnace Creek go east on 190, north on 127 which becomes 373 at Nevada line.
The Reitz’ are in for a dessert and two gifts to steal !!
I PRINTED TWO COPIES AND CARRY THEM IN MY TRUNk IN A PLASTIC PAGE SO THEY DON’T GET DIRTY.
Hey Ron, I was looking at your Saturday route and it looks like there is no connection between waypoints 11 to 14. You routed on 173 but I believe that becomes a dirt road after the Pacific Crest Trail parking area at WP 11. Both TYRE and MyRoute will not connect but make big loops to get to WP 14.
Just thought I’d let you know.Hey Rick, Duct Tape will fix that Nav V so it NEVER moves. HAHAHAAAA
Ok, now what to bring, hmmmmm.
Brandon, you said waaaay back in June you wanted me to bring drinks or ?? and would contact me. I’m waiting…..
Good old Rick C got Dan straightened out. Thank you Rick !!
Dan Burtt has had trouble signing up for the Ride List so he reached out to me for help. He has a reservation for Pea Soup Anderson’s and the Santa Ynez Ride.
Dan’s email is [email protected] or [email protected]I posted on Facebook page to make reservations now.
Where ya goin’ Bill ??
I try to stay off the highways and close to home for Memorial Day weekend. The first weekend of summer and EVERYONE is on the roads racing to a destination. But that’s just me…..
If you go up 395 the closest Sierra crossroad is 120 and that may still be closed due to snow. Better check CalTrans when the date gets close.
8:45 we pulled in the garage with 380 miles on the clock. What a GREAT day of flower smelling !! Thanks to Chris Roady and all the riders. Hope you all made it home safe.
Ohhhh, is my ass sore, but in a good way. 😁
Karen & I have a previous engagement so we won’t be there.
How about removing the Saturday March 2nd general meeting & basecamp training ??
