Come sharpen your off road riding skills. Cleghorn Ridge is a moderately challenging dirt road. The kid of road most SUVs could drive down but standard hight cars might run into trouble. The road has ruts, rocky sections and a little sand. If your GS has been on the dirt before, this is the ride for you. If you have never touched dirt on a motorcycle, reach out to the club leadership so we can schedule a day of basic dirt training for you.
We will meet at: Interstate 15 and Cleghorn Ridge OHV Road 2N47 (Cajon Pass) at 8:30 am. Gas is not available here so please arrive with at least 100 miles of range. Bring plenty of water and snacks. There are no services once we are on the trail.
When we finish Cleghorn Ridge near lake Silverwood, there will be an optional harder ride up Pilot Rock OHV Road 2N33 to Lake Arrowhead. This is a 12 mile challenging ride from the Cedar Springs Dam to Highway 173 just north of lake Arrowhead.
