      South Coasters!

We are excited to announce an Alumni Brunch on Saturday, May 16 at Irv Seaver’s Flat Track Café. All current and past members are invited, along with spouses and significant others.

Importantly, we will have four past presidents in attendance and we look forward to learning the stories and heritage that make the South Coasters such a great club.

      Schedule:

        • 9:00 AM – Coffee meet & greet
        • 9:30 AM – Brunch buffet
        • 10:00 AM – Welcome and club history led by Club President Eric Wolf
        • 10:30 AM – Irv Seaver plaque presentation
        • 11:00 AM – Ride brief
        • 11;30 AM – Ride departs

We have a delicious menu planned including

        • Coffee and Orange Juice
        • Fresh Fruit
        • Assorted Bakery Pastries
        • Flat Track Cafe Breakfast Burritos
        • Egg Casserole
        • Breakfast Sausages
        • Home Fries
        • French Toast Casserole

We’re expecting a large turnout for this delicious brunch so register NOW!

For those interested, Anniversary Ride Chair Jake Perkio is planning a local ride immediately following the program.

The Alumni brunch on Saturday, May 16th will be a great opportunity to meet new and old members from the club. We have a wonderful menu and the perfect venue at the Flat Track Cafe.

To make this event a success and a great experience for all that attend, the Hospitality Committee is looking for four volunteers to assist with set up and take down. We have a short window to prepare for the 9:00am kick off and similar at the end of the event to return the venue back to showroom status for Irv Seaver Motorcycle.

Your support would involve arriving at Irv Seaver’s  for 8:00am to 9:00am set up and assisting from 11:00am to noon with take down and clean up. Now is a great time to show your support for the SCBMWRC that you are a member of.

If you would like to volunteer and help support this club event please contact me. You can post to this forum or contact me directly at 714 308 9056 0r altcar.sailing@gmail.com

I look forward to a great turnout for this event.

      Thanks,

      Ric Magrath

We have put together a simple route that should be enjoyable and scenic while not going too far from our meeting point. We will wind our way through Santiago and Live Oak Canyons on our way to Ortega Highway.

Link to the ride route on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/HKtGnxGuSkLjLUQG6

Our end point will be Hafey Farms Country Store & Beergarden and then riders can split off towards the 15 or back down Ortega towards the OC. There is also an option to do a 33 mile off-road route from Hafey Farms towards Murrietta: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zAbp9fJqyimVavdc8

Gentlemen, today was really fun. Sincere thanks for the welcome, honor and very cool SWAG bag provided. It is quite impressive to see how y’all have moved the club forward, while still honoring its past. Congrats and thanks  Eric for steering the club the direction it has gone and to the dedicated Board members and membership … consider this absentee member impressed and appreciative.

All the food was excellent, especially that cake.
The swag bag had so many interesting items included.
Now I just need to see ALL the pictures of…… ME !!

Thanks again to the crew that put this event together, you all did good.

                        Hi South Coasters!

Thanks everyone who came out to this event.  It was incredible; another chapter in South Coast history.

Pete Rissman took some great shots at the Brunch.  View, oogle and download them from his flickr site.
