October 15–18, Lake Tahoe — Extended Weekend
Prepare for a high-alpine odyssey as we head to the crown jewel of the Sierra Nevada. This trip is designed to tackle the legendary “High Passes,” including the 8,300-foot Monitor Pass and the technical, narrow twists of Ebbetts Pass (Highway 4). We’ll witness the spectacular autumn transition as the aspen groves turn to brilliant gold against the granite peaks. This is riding at its most dramatic—high elevation, thin air, and endless curves.
This four-day expedition is a “bucket-list” run for any touring enthusiast. We’ll circumnavigate Emerald Bay and share stories over dinner in the crisp Tahoe air. Because of the technical nature of the passes and the distance involved, this trip requires a spirited pace and a love for the mountains. Early sign-ups are critical, as Tahoe accommodations fill up fast during the fall foliage peak!
